GB3HO - Licensed on RU71, TX 430.8875, RX438.4875, sub tone 88.5hz

April 12th 2023, GB3HO returned to service following duplexer replacement.

On the 24th November 2015 an application was made to the ETCC for forwarding to OfCom to re-establish the long lost UHF repeater for the Horsham area. I have asked for the callsign GB3HO to be allocated for this repeater.

The repeater is located about 5 km S.W. of Horsham town centre. Progress and details can be seen on the ETCC web site. http://www.ukrepeater.net/

The control logic is similar to the one used for GB3WS, and has a speech I.D. and a “bing bong” as the over signal. Icom IC-F210 transceivers are used for the transmitter and receiver. These transceivers have been successfully used on GB3NX for the last few years.

The repeater coverage area is the Horsham and surrounding area, south towards the downs. The antenna system is an omni-directional co-linear array.

The repeater has been vetted by the MOD, who are the primary user of the band.

Further details and pictures will be posted to the website in due course.
